Keysha Smith, a board-certified nurse practitioner with over a decade of invaluable experience in
healthcare delivery. Keysha’s journey into the medical field began with a Bachelor of Science in
Nursing from the University of Cincinnati, followed by the attainment of her Master’s of Science
in Nursing from the same esteemed institution.
Keysha’s career trajectory showcases her unwavering dedication to excellence. She embarked on
her professional journey as a neurosurgery nurse at UC Health’s pioneering neurosurgical acuity-
adjustable unit. Her passion for facial aesthetics led her to the Department of Facial Plastic
Surgery at UC, where she underwent rigorous training under the mentorship of renowned facial
plastics and reconstructive surgeons. Here, she honed her skills in the art and science of facial
rejuvenation, setting the stage for her transition to dermatology.
Now, as a valued member of our Dermatology Group, Keysha brings her wealth of expertise to
adolescent and adult patients alike, specializing in both general and cosmetic dermatology. With
a keen eye for detail and a compassionate approach, she excels in identifying and treating an
extensive range of skin disorders. Her clinical interests span skin cancer surveillance, acne
management, and cosmetic injections, ensuring comprehensive care for her patients.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Keysha is an active member of the Ohio Board of
Nursing and the Dermatology Nurses Association, further exemplifying her commitment to the
field. When she’s not transforming lives in the clinic, Keysha enjoys exploring new destinations,
gliding through the streets on rollerblades, and cherishing moments with her loved ones.
